Description
My first actual painting in six years... technical problems gallore. But the varnish is on, so... I'll just have to deal with it.
Process:
1) I started with a posterboard... just standard $.25 project board.
2) Ripped traditional oragami paper to pieces and glued that on the posterboard using craft glue. That was painful, it was such pretty paper.
3) Painted base coat - just background colors (acryllic paint)
4) Painted the rest with acryllic paint - mostly the details. The geisha took forever.
5) Varnished it, and then realized that the posterboard wasn't an even rectangle
I really want to fix it, but... you know how it is. Artwork is never finished, only abandoned when the artist sees fit. I treat it as a learning experience.
