Hey everyone! I've burned out recently because of the amount of college work I've been doing (as well as an internship, side projects, etc... :P ) but I'm going to try to do more art. I recently did a digital painting for a fanfiction gift exchange, and everyone loved it so much that... well, I have to do more art now. It is tough going to art school for Web Design & New Media and trying to draw when you are surrounded by people who are majoring in Illustration and Fine Art and their work is out of this world. It's amazing how as you live life and have experiences, meet new people, and go to new places, your tastes in both art and music evolve. This is something that is happening to me at the moment, and it couldn't come at a better time. I've started to broaden my music landscape even further. I've started to appreciate modern art a little more, which I have always scoffed at. I've found many cultures and subcultures of art here in San Francisco, and I have my new friends and the city to thank for this. I hope to start translating my experiences into my art soon. Or as soon as time allows, considering that I am interning at a small design company

So my second year at Academy of Art University has started, and I'm once again bogged down with work. The semester is already intense, but that's probably my own fault for wanting to digitally illustrate everything... because I got an intuos4 tablet. But yeah. :) San Francisco is as foggy as ever, so I'm pretty much confined to my computer. With any luck, I'll have more worthwhile digital art to upload once again. We'll see. :heart: to all, and keep creating!
