Hey everyone! I've burned out recently because of the amount of college work I've been doing (as well as an internship, side projects, etc...

) but I'm going to try to do more art. I recently did a digital painting for a fanfiction gift exchange, and everyone loved it so much that... well, I have to do more art now.
It is tough going to art school for Web Design & New Media and trying to draw when you are surrounded by people who are majoring in Illustration and Fine Art and their work is out of this world. I feel like a five year old wielding crayons sometimes. It's been a little off-putting, simply because I have zero confidence in almost everything I do. But since everyone seemed to love my painting, I've realized that my art can be that good if I try harder, learn more, and practice practice practice. I refuse to practice drawing most of the time since I have to turn everything I do into a work of art instead of an exploration, so I get frustrated. No more! I WILL practice now!

I'm good friends with some fantastic artists, and one of my best friends is constantly drawing, practicing his art. He forgoes video games, sleep and hanging out for his art, because he understands the importance of practicing. I've gotten lazy! I know I've been busy, but man. I need drive like THAT.
So with any luck, once school gets out I will be going full force with digital paintings, sketches, and more ink and color pencil drawings.
I love you all!
